I have been making videos for more than a decade, covering women’s secret soccer leagues in Saudi Arabia, investigating video game economies, and explaining why South Koreans have two ages.
I am currently the head of video at Thomson Reuters Foundation where I oversee video projects across the foundation, including producing short documentaries, explainers and visual investigations for Context. I was formerly an executive producer at Quartz and senior producer at TIME.
My work has received nearly a dozen awards, including a SABEW Best in Business and Edward R. Murrow award. My videos have been published on The New York Times, Scientific American, Quartz, TIME, Retro Report, and PBS. I have a degree in film production from York University in Toronto, and a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University. I currently teach Visual Storytelling at Columbia School of International and Public Affairs.
